My name is Gillian better known by my family and friends as Gigi. I was born and bred in England, I quickly developed a desire to see the world! I have always been drawn to different cultures, foods, arts and lifestyles.
My working life has revolved around art, either in interior design, house renovating or selling antiques.
I have ended up living most of my life abroad. Since moving back to the UK, I am now based in the sunny seaside town of Bognor Regis, nestled at the foot of the South Downs on the South coast.
I instinctively go for bold, bright individual pieces. I adore the 'ethnic' look with a touch of the oriental. I particularly love Alcohol inks and Acrylics which allow my basic love of colour and movement to be expressed to the full. Polymer Clay also allows me to push forward with strikingly individual pieces of multi media artwork and jewellery.
Always seeking to branch out and embrace different aspects of art and creation my designs are ever evolving!
To date my projects have involved printing my designs onto high quality pure cotton scarves, shopping bags and totebags, silk finished post cards and cotton T-shirts.
